“I wrote and demo’d this song in 1998. It even appeared on an early Autumn’s Descent demo CD in 1999. I always liked the feel and message of the song but felt the recording could be better. Fast forward to 2013 and RELESSER adopts the song, adds electronics and voila. Then the acoustic version was made and Andy, Doug, & I added a string quartet. We like the strings so much, we brought them into the electronic version. Lyrically, after feeling like a failure in my walk with the Lord, I just want to feel whole and pure. This is a song of surrender, acknowledging God as the author of healing and grace.” - Asche
